Decline Magazine Awards Leatt Knee Guards a Five-Star Rating

July issue features a knee pad comparison between top brands and Leatt comes out on top

CAPE TOWN, South Africa (June 8, 2016) – Leatt Corporation (OTCQB: LEAT), a global developer, marketer and distributor of personal protective equipment for all forms of sports, and whose products include the flagship Leatt-Brace®, announced today that the Leatt AirFlex Pro Knee Guards were awarded an overall five-star rating by Decline Magazine, a publication dedicated to the mountain biking culture and lifestyle.

Decline Magazine ran a knee pad comparison feature in their July issue, including Leatt among other well-known protection wear brands. The magazine measured the respective knee pads’ breathability, fit and protection against one another, finally awarding it an overall rating out of five stars each.

The Leatt AirFlex Pro Knee Guards is the only product of those reviewed that boasted a five-star rating in both the breathability and fit categories. The product also received a rare five-star overall rating, giving it full points in all categories.

“Leatt’s AirFlex Pro is ideal for people who want protection, but want it to be as invisible and compact as possible,” Decline noted after trying the knee guards.

With super slim, 3D molded impact protection and a new silicone printed knee grip, the Leatt AirFlex Pro Knee Guards promises a higher level of protection while offering superior comfort. Its anti-odor, MoistureCool and wicking AirMesh fabric adds to breathability and it is perforated for ventilation. The knee guards are CE tested and certified as impact protection (Knee EN1621-2).

In the same issue, Decline Magazine highlighted the Sea Otter Classic event. The Leatt booth is visible in their spread covering the event, as well as an image from Leatt’s recent DBX Helmet Launch, where invited media tested the new helmet while going downhill on trike bikes. “Props to Leatt for keepin’ it loose!  They launched the new DBX helmet via drift trikes down an open-road course!  Pirate style, hell yeah!” reads the caption.

“We at Leatt are proud to be featured in Decline Magazine and pleased with the five-star rating,” commented Leatt CEO Sean Macdonald.  “We see this as a tribute to our continued innovation and engineering prowess as we expand our product offerings into helmets and knee braces and other protection gear for a variety of sports.”
